Classic chess is a logical game known worldwide, where tournaments are held and the best players enjoy fame and recognition. In this set, besides chess itself, you also get pieces and a board on the reverse side for 2 additional games: checkers and mill.

India is considered the cradle of chess. They appeared in Europe around the 10th–11th century and still enjoy great popularity today. On the 64-square chessboard, players engage in a real military skirmish aiming to dethrone the king. The set consists of two 16-piece armies :)

As for the history of checkers and mill, these are certainly much older games originating from the Bronze Age and ancient Egypt around 3000 BC, but they have not gained as much popularity as chess in the modern world.

The pieces are very nicely crafted in a classic style. Of course, made of wood! The pieces are located in two drawers, dividing the board into the territory of whites and blacks. Each drawer has space for 16 chess pieces and 12 for checkers or mill, making a total of up to 56 pieces in one set :)

Great fun for both children and parents. The game develops a child's logical skills and can become a real hobby.
