The game Close the Box is a dice game for 2 players.

Game Instructions:

The younger player rolls both dice. If they roll, for example, a 3 and a 6, they have 5 options to cover numbers in the box:

• "9"
• "8 and 1"
• "7 and 2"
• "6 and 3"
• "5 and 4"

Only one or two numbers can be covered. After each roll, the player must make one of the above moves: cover 1 or 2 numbers. The same player continues to roll the dice until all numbers are covered or no numbers can be covered. If the player cannot cover any numbers, they add up their remaining uncovered numbers. When the first player cannot make a move, the second person tries their luck.

Players take turns playing in the same manner.
