Banaby.eu » Bedding / Children mattresses / Foam mattresses for children
The core of children's mattresses is made of medium-firm foam (3 on a scale of 1-5). The most popular foam used in the mattress core is PUR foam. Formerly known as molitan.
Molitan foam mattresses are synonymous with modern foam mattresses. Don't look for any difference between PUR foam and "molitan". "Molitan" was just a trade name for the material used to make mattresses in Czechoslovakia. Polyurethane (PUR) mattresses therefore differ from foam rubber mattresses in their higher quality, higher density and optimal (medium) firmness for the child's spine.
Medium-firm PUR foam (3 out of 1-5) is the basis of the core of most of the children's mattresses we offer. Therefore, mattresses in combination with a coconut fiber board (semi-coconut), buckwheat or even in combination with latex are popular. Choose for yourself. We will be happy to advise you.
You can find purely foam mattresses directly on this page. Although the core of the vast majority of mattresses is made of PUR foam, selected models of children's mattresses are also made of HR foam (higher load capacity and longer service life).
