Unlike standard hammering toys, the pegs here don't pass through to the other side. The pegs don't fall down because there is a movable element installed, which causes the adjacent peg to rise when one peg is hammered down from one side. If the child hits the pink peg with the hammer, the purple peg next to it rises, and so on.

While playing, the child improves their eye-hand coordination. The dexterity of their hands significantly improves - the child hits the pegs faster, more accurately, and with more strength.
