Air Pro – integrated ventilation system, the mattress breathes

Air Pro is a system designed in the mattress to provide optimal temperature and sleep hygiene for your child in the crib. Air Pro includes:

• Numerous horizontal ventilation channels located on both sleeping surfaces are integrated with vertical channels running through the thickness of the mattress and channels cut inside the insert. This construction allows free air flow into the children's mattress through the 3D aeration mesh sewn around the entire cover
• Free ventilation helps maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature, reduces the number of awakenings caused by overheating of the baby, reduces the risk of bacteria, fungi, mold, and mites development, improving sleep hygiene in the crib

Why does the AERO mattress breathe?

If you are wondering how to reduce your child's sweating during sleep, then a mattress with a 3D mat is for you. The comfortable 3D mat with firmness recommended especially for children across the entire sleeping surface further enhances airflow between your baby's back and the mattress while ensuring comfortable sleep with a comfortable sleep temperature. Features of the 3D mat used in the Aero mattress:

• 1.5 centimeters – height matters, ensuring excellent airflow for uninterrupted sleep
• very comfortable and durable
• appropriate firmness of the mat, dedicated especially for the youngest

very carefully finished mat on all edges, it is worth noting that all extreme threads are secured at the stage of mat production, not sewn. Such construction allows better airflow at the edge and the entire sleeping surface and safety.

It can be easily recognized, with us it is in gray. Its construction resembles the 3D mat described above. The main difference is that the 3D mat is 15 mm high, and the aeration mesh is 4 mm. It is important that this mesh works excellently with the vertical and horizontal ventilation channels of the Air Pro system, as it is literally connected to them. Thanks to this, unnecessary moisture, excess temperature, and CO2 are safely removed from the mattress, and access to fresh air is significantly facilitated.

High-resilience foam VitaRest® HR 3532 – excellent resistance to deformation

The heavier, denser the foam, the more resistant it is to deformation. A popular foam in children's mattresses is T 18 (18 kg/m3 – very low density and high risk of deformation). In the Aero mattress, we use VitaRest® HR 35/32 foam (that's more foam in foam). It ensures sleep free from unwanted dents, which can adversely affect the developing spine of a child. Moreover, high-resilience foams are more resistant to deformation than regular PUR foams even of the same mass. The thickness of the mattress insert is 10 cm.

360° frame of hardened foam – safe learning to walk

Little explorers make their first attempts to stand and walk in the crib. To ensure ease of learning, but also safety, so that the foot does not slip, we added hardened foam around the Aero mattress. Such construction stabilizes the surface of the first walks of the baby. It is also worth noting that the frame was added in such a way that all ventilation channels inside the mattress are clear, not disrupting ventilation. It is also worth noting that the 360° frame ensures safety around the crib, wherever the child can grab the crib rail.

Mattress cover – noble TENCEL™ fiber coated with Hydro Max

The cover of our children's crib mattress is made of excellent quality knit, from modern TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin. It is gentle on the skin, but importantly, it effectively manages moisture. Rücken is also naturally antibacterial and anti-allergic, which significantly works with the antibacterial insert of the children's mattress. The most important features of our cover:

• TENCEL™ absorbs and releases 50% more water vapor into the environment than cotton, is noble to the touch and durable, the unique properties of the fiber make it warm on cold nights and pleasantly cool in summer
• Studies show that bacteria on TENCEL™ covers multiply significantly slower than on polyester or cotton covers
• The cover made of TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin is made of cellulose, that is, wood
• Easy to maintain cleanliness, stable even during multiple washes at temperatures up to 60°C
• The cover is coated with Hydro MAX, which effectively slows down the penetration of liquids inside.

Double-sided mattress – adapted to the age of the baby

Each side of the Aero children's mattress has similar firmness, but each serves different functions and the ventilation profiles are built differently. Such construction, consulted with physiotherapists, perfectly matches the changing needs of the rapidly developing spine of the baby. It is important that the spine is evenly supported without excessive pressure on the protruding parts of the back. Additionally, cut profiles in the foams and vertical channels are placed to enhance airflow precisely in these protruding areas of the spine. The ability to use both sides of the mattress reduces the number of microorganisms and mites, improving sleep hygiene

• side recommended up to 12 months with 3D mat. Ventilation channels of the same depth cut in the foam are located under the 3D mat, providing even support for the developing spine and excellent ventilation in the first year of life
• side of the mattress with foam after 12 months. The unique profiles of the second side of the mattress made of foam, have several zones of firmness, which translates into less pressure on the most protruding parts of the body and even support for the spine of the older baby

360° zipper cover – you can wash half of the cover

It is worth remembering that the cleanliness of the mattress in the crib guarantees less exposure of your child to allergens and bacteria. With this in mind, we have applied a 360° zipper in our products, which:

• Divides the cover into two parts. This solution allows you to wash only the soiled half of the mattress cover.
• Washing the soiled part is easier to fit in the washing machine and easier to put back on. The cover is suitable for washing at 60°C.
• For the safety of the baby, the zipper pull of the 360° zipper is hidden under the Rücken label

Products awarded the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 mark are free from harmful substances in concentrations that negatively affect human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, banned azo dyes, and extractable heavy metals.
