Natural Coconut

The layer of natural coconut fibers is one of the elements of the Natura mattress. These fibers are characterized by good ventilation properties and provide a hard sleeping surface. Ventilation channels located under the coconut mat enhance airflow.

The mattress is made of profiled PUR foam with a thickness of 9 cm + coconut mat 1 cm

• Different firmness on each side of the mattress gives you the freedom to adjust the mattress to your child's comfort. One side is recommended up to approximately 12 months of age, the other later.

Intended use:

Air Pro – integrated ventilation system, the mattress breathes

Air Pro is a system designed in the mattress to ensure optimal temperature and sleep hygiene for your child in the crib. Air Pro is:

• Numerous ventilation channels located on both sleeping surfaces are integrated with vertical channels running through the thickness of the mattress and channels cut inside the core. Such a construction allows free air supply to the crib mattress through a 3D ventilation mesh sewn into the cover.
• Free ventilation helps maintain a comfortable sleep temperature, reduces the number of awakenings caused by overheating of the child, lowers the risk of bacteria, mold, mildew, and mites development, thereby improving sleep hygiene in the crib.
• special profile of ventilation channels located on the entire sleeping surface on both sides of the Natura crib mattress, also under the coconut mat. Both sides of the mattress are integrated with the Air Pro ventilation system

We have sewn a ventilation mesh around the entire perimeter of the mattress, which works with the mattress's ventilation channels.

The cover mesh and vertical and horizontal channels are fully integrated - thus creating an extended network and the mattress breathes.

Polyurethane foam T 25 – very good resistance to deformation

The heavier, denser the foam, the more resistant it is to deformation. Popular in children's mattresses is foam T 18 (18 kg/m3 – very low density and high risk of deformation). In the Natura mattress, we use foam T 25 (25 kg/m3, which is more foam in the foam). It ensures sleep without unwanted depressions that can adversely affect the developing spine of the child.

Mattress cover – noble TENCEL™ fiber coated with Hydro Max

The cover of our crib mattress is made of high-quality knitwear, from modern TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin. It is gentle on the skin, but importantly, it effectively manages moisture. Rücken is also naturally antibacterial and anti-allergic, which significantly cooperates with the antibacterial core of the crib mattress. What is most important about our cover:

• TENCEL™ absorbs and releases into the environment 50% more water vapor than cotton, is noble to the touch and durable, unique fiber properties ensure that on cold nights it provides warmth and in summer pleasantly cools
• Research shows that bacteria on TENCEL™ covers multiply significantly slower than on polyester or cotton covers
• Cover made of TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin, is made from cellulose, i.e., wood
• Easy to keep clean, stable even with repeated washing at temperatures up to 60°C
• The cover is coated with Hydro MAX, which effectively slows down the penetration of liquids inside.

Double-sided mattress – adapted to the child's age

Each side of the Rücken Natura crib mattress has different firmness and differently constructed ventilation profiles. Such construction perfectly cooperates with the changing needs of the rapidly developing child's spine. We pay attention to these elements, but also to your child's sleep comfort, in collaboration with physiotherapists we have profiled the foam so that the spine is evenly supported without excessive pressure on protruding parts of the back. Additionally, we have cut profiles in the foams and placed vertical channels to enhance airflow precisely in these protruding areas. The possibility of using both sides of the mattress reduces the number of multiplying microorganisms and mites, thereby improving sleep hygiene. Double-sidedness is like having two mattresses:

• side recommended up to 12 months with a coconut mat. Ventilation channels cut in the foams under the coconut mat ensure even support for the developing spine and enhance ventilation. Sleeping side hard H4.
• foam side of the mattress after 12 months. Unique profiles of the second side made of foam, which is several zones of firmness, which translates into less pressure on the most protruding parts of the body and even support for the spine of an older child. Foam medium hard H2→H3.

Safe Zip 360°– feather-light zipper, can wash half of the cover

It is good to remember that the cleanliness of the crib mattress guarantees less exposure of your child to allergens and bacteria. With this in mind, we used a 360° zipper in our products, which:

• Divides the cover into two parts. This solution allows you to wash only the soiled half of the mattress cover.
• When washing the soiled part, it fits more easily into the washing machine and is also easier to put back on. The cover is adapted for washing at 60°C.
• For the safety of the child, we hid the 360° zipper slider under the Rücken seam

All components of our mattresses are certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and made from the highest quality raw materials.

Products awarded the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 mark are free from harmful substances in concentrations that negatively affect human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, banned azo dyes, and extractable heavy metals.

We cut the foams of our mattresses on-site with the utmost care, under the supervision of experienced technologists, in one of the most modern cutting plants in Poland.
