Stabil is a mattress with durable and highly elastic latex in the central part, which perfectly adapts to the shape of a child's body. We have enhanced the exceptional properties of latex with excellent ventilation and the possibility of natural disinfection of latex in a home freezer. All thanks to the manufacturing process, which takes place on the most modern machines in our factory.

Latex Foam – Durable and Comfortable

Latex is a very durable and elastic material that perfectly adapts to the shape of the body. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Latex can be easily rolled up and placed in the freezer, preventing the development of pathogenic bacteria. Latex foam is a very durable material and does not deform even with very long and intensive use (20% natural latex and 80% synthetic latex).

Latex is a material that breathes to a limited extent, so perforation of latex mattresses is important. In addition, when choosing a mattress with latex, it is important that the PUR foam directly under the latex has sufficiently developed ventilation channels and that the cover is made of high-quality materials that manage moisture well. Otherwise, a child sleeping on a latex mattress may sweat and wake up during sleep.

In our mattresses, the vertical channels of the latex foam are integrated with a highly breathable profile cut in the PUR foam under the latex. The Air Pro system also ensures free airflow from top to bottom and sideways, allowing the entire interior of the mattress to breathe. The cover with TENCEL® fibers perfectly manages moisture. All this reduces the risk of bacteria, mold, or mite development. It also reduces the risk of sweating and waking up the child.

Innovative ventilation system – Air Pro

• It is a modern technology that allows the mattress to "breathe" to ensure your child has the ideal temperature and sleep hygiene.

Up to 2 different sleeping surfaces

• Different firmness of each side of the mattress gives you the freedom to adjust the mattress to your child's comfort. One side is recommended up to approximately 12 months of age, the other later.

Latex pad - with numerous holes that support ventilation

• It is a very durable and elastic material that perfectly adapts to the shape of the body. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Latex can be easily rolled up and placed in the freezer, preventing the development of pathogenic bacteria.

Intended use:

Rücken mattresses ensure free air circulation, preventing excessive sweating during sleep. The advantages of the mattresses are elasticity and orthopedic properties, i.e., they adapt to the shape of the body and the positions we take during sleep, thus providing the spine with proper and even support along its entire length.

The mentioned properties allow the intended use of the above mattresses to be fulfilled, namely:

• prevention of bedsores,
• support of the rehabilitation process in children with posture defects,
• prevention of developmental defects of the musculoskeletal system in children.

Air Pro – integrated ventilation system, mattress breathes

Air Pro is a system designed in the mattress to ensure optimal temperature and sleep hygiene for your child in the crib. Air Pro is:

• Numerous ventilation channels located on both sleeping surfaces are integrated with vertical channels running through the thickness of the mattress and channels cut inside the core. Such a construction allows free air access to the center of the children's mattress through a 3D ventilation mesh sewn into the cover
• Free ventilation facilitates maintaining a comfortable sleep temperature, reduces the number of awakenings caused by overheating of the child, reduces the risk of bacteria, mold, fungi, and mite development, thus improving sleep hygiene in the crib
• Special profile of ventilation channels located on the entire sleeping surface on both sides of the children's Stabil mattress, also on the latex pad. Both sides of the mattress are integrated with the Air Pro ventilation system.

We have sewn a ventilation mesh around the entire perimeter of the mattress, which works with the mattress's ventilation channels.

The cover mesh and the vertical and horizontal channels are fully integrated - thanks to this, an extended network is created, and the mattress breathes.

Polyurethane Foam T 25 – Very Good Resistance to Deformation

The heavier, denser the foam, the more resistant it is to deformation. Popular in children's mattresses is foam T 18 (18 kg/m3 – very low density and high risk of deformation). In the Stabil mattress, we use foam T 25 (25 kg/m3, that is more foam in foam). It ensures sleep without unwanted depressions, which can adversely affect the developing child's spine.

360° Reinforced Foam Frame – Safe Learning to Walk

Little explorers make their first attempts to stand up and walk in the crib. To ensure ease of learning, but also safety, so that the foot does not slip, we added reinforced foam around the Stabil mattress. Such a construction stabilizes the base of the child's first steps. It is also worth noting that the frame was added so that all ventilation channels inside the mattress are passable, so as not to disrupt ventilation. It is also worth noting that the 360° frame ensures safety around the crib, i.e., everywhere the child can grab the crib railings.

Mattress Cover – Noble TENCEL™ Fiber Coated with Hydro Max

The cover on our crib mattress is made from excellent quality knit, from modern TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin. It is gentle on the skin, but importantly, it effectively manages moisture. Rücken is also naturally antibacterial and anti-allergic, which significantly resonates with the antibacterial core of the children's mattress. What is most important about our cover:

• TENCEL™ absorbs and releases 50% more water vapor into the surroundings than cotton, is noble to the touch and durable, unique fiber properties ensure that on cold nights it provides warmth and in summer pleasantly cools
• Research shows that bacteria on TENCEL™ covers multiply significantly slower than on polyester or cotton covers
• The cover made from TENCEL™ fibers of natural origin is made from cellulose, i.e., wood
• Easy to keep clean, stable even with repeated washing at temperatures up to 60°C
• The cover is coated with Hydro MAX, which effectively slows down the penetration of liquids inside.

Double-Sided Mattress – Adapted to the Child's Age

Each side of the Rücken Stabil children's mattress has different firmness and differently built ventilation profiles. Such a construction perfectly resonates with the changing needs of the rapidly developing child's spine. We pay attention to these elements, but also to the comfort of your child's sleep, in cooperation with physiotherapists we have profiled the foam so that the spine is evenly supported without excessive pressure on the protruding parts of the back. In addition, we have cut profiles in the foams and placed vertical channels to enhance airflow precisely in these protruding places. The possibility of using both sides of the mattress reduces the amount of multiplying microorganisms and mites, thus improving sleep hygiene.

Double-sidedness is like having two mattresses:

• latex side recommended up to 12 months. Ventilation channels cut in the foams under the latex pad ensure even support for the developing spine and enhance ventilation. Medium firm sleeping side H2.
• foam side recommended after 12 months. Unique profiles of the second side made of foam, that is several zones of firmness, which results in less pressure on the most protruding parts of the body and even support for the spine of an older child. Medium firm foam H2→H3.

360° Zip Cover – Can Wash Half of the Cover

It is worth remembering that the cleanliness of the mattress in the crib guarantees less exposure of your child to allergens and bacteria. With this in mind, we used a 360° zip in our products, which:

• Divides the cover into two parts. This solution allows you to wash only the soiled half of the mattress cover.
• When washing the soiled part, it is easier to put it in the washing machine and also to put it back on. The cover is adapted for washing at a temperature of 60°C.
• For the safety of the child, we hid the 360° zip slider under the Rücken label

Certificates Confirming the Highest Quality

All components are certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and made from the highest quality raw materials.

Products awarded the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 mark are free from harmful substances in concentrations negatively affecting human health, e.g., pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, banned azo dyes, and extractable heavy metals.

We cut the foams of our mattresses on-site with the utmost care, under the supervision of experienced technologists, in one of the most modern cutting plants in Poland.
