High-quality polyurethane foam is the softer side of the mattress. The foam is uniformly firm and elastic across its entire surface. On the mattress firmness scale, it is medium-firm (3 out of 1-5). This firmness meets the requirements for children's mattresses for everyday sleeping.

2nd layer of the mattress - VISCO memory foam

You might know memory foam as lazy or viscoelastic foam. The unique property of lazy foam is its ability to immediately adapt to the body of the person lying on it and return to its original state once they get up. This type of foam is recommended more for adults or people with health issues.

However, sleeping on this side is more suitable for older children (around 12 years old). The height of the memory layer is 2-3 cm, which meets the recommended maximum for older children. While children are still growing, they need to sleep first on the side with PUR foam, which maintains its shape and does not change. Sleeping on the memory foam layer is therefore more suitable for smaller children occasionally or once they grow up.

It is up to the children which side of the mattress they prefer to use. To ensure the mattress lasts as long as possible, don't forget to get a mattress protector.
