The VISCO children's mattress with dimensions of 70x140 cm belongs to the mattresses that offer a choice between sides depending on which one is more comfortable for the child. One side is made of PUR foam and the other side consists of a 3 cm thin layer of memory foam. Older children will appreciate this mattress for everyday sleeping, but younger children can also use it for occasional sleeping.

Under the removable cover of the VISCO children's mattress lies the core of the mattress, which consists of two layers of different materials. Each material has its unique properties, ensuring a quality and healthy sleep for children.

1st layer of the mattress - polyurethane foam (PUR)

High-quality polyurethane foam is the softer side of the mattress. The foam is uniformly firm and flexible across the entire surface. On the mattress firmness scale, it is medium-firm (3 out of 1-5). This firmness meets the requirements for children's mattresses for everyday sleeping.

2nd layer of the mattress - VISCO memory foam

You might know memory foam as lazy foam or viscoelastic foam. The unique property of memory foam is its ability to immediately adapt to the body of the person lying down and return to its original state once they get up. This type of foam is recommended more for adults or people with health issues.

However, sleeping on this side is more suitable for older children (around 12 years old). The height of the memory foam layer is 2-3 cm, which meets the recommended maximum for older children. While children are still growing, they need to sleep first on the side with PUR foam, which retains its shape and does not change. Sleeping on the memory foam layer is therefore more suitable for younger children (up to 4 years) occasionally or once they grow older.

It is up to the children which side of the mattress they prefer to use. To ensure the mattress lasts as long as possible, don't forget to get a mattress protector.
